As a young marten Hollow was given the name Thorn at birth, but he chose to shake it off because he did not like it. Being a curious little guy, he decided that he was going to learn everything about the entire world as soon as he could climb and run. This led to the little marten being separated from its parents, and luckily a patrol from Hemlock Guild found him before he got too hungry or frail. The providers who found him found a bright-eyed, extremely playful young marten who seemed not to have a name. They named him Hollow, in honor of the little dirt hole that he had dug to make himself concealed in the area they found him, and he seemed to assent to it with a bouncy nod.
He joined Hemlock Guild quite excited to learn about everything. He was especially entranced by the giant fire in the middle of the village that Fleecefog was using to dry herbs and make tea! He hopes to learn even more about life as a Keeper, but the looming Phoenixlight and his stringent expectations will soon come to haunt him.
