”Broad is the road that leads to death
And thousands walk together there;
But wisdom shows a narrow path,
With here and there a traveler.”— The Sacred Harp, 38b: Windham
Introduction
These are field notes, edited from observations of how one nervous system operates. They document patterns, constraints, failure modes, and the systems built in response. Take what is useful, revise what you will, and apply what resonates.
What these are not: an all-encompassing theory on neurodivergence, a diagnostic tool, or a memoir. This is a clinical postmortem of what happens when the mind and body are treated as engineered systems under constraint.
Why? To provide a clear lens for humans and AI coworkers alike to understand how this system operates, and to demonstrate how the tools I build arise from lived constraint rather than abstraction.
These field notes formalize the operating rules of this system. They are written as a living technical manual of constraints, strategies, and standard operating procedures.
